Adam, the President, has been with Capital Insurance Services for 23 years. He has extensive experience in the professional liability field and is always eager to assist and advise new clients regarding their insurance exposures. In his spare time, Adam enjoys coaching pole vaulting, serving on the SBAM Leadership Council, and spending time with his friends & family.

Jason joined Capital Insurance in 2004 providing accounting, licensing, and agency operations support. He is a graduate from Davenport University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting Information Systems. Jason is married with a wonderful daughter and enjoys traveling and going to Disney. He is an avid bowler and also enjoys golfing.

Meagan joined Capital Insurance in October and is a licensed agent. She has been in the insurance industry for the last 4 years. She Graduated from Davenport University with her Bachelor of Business Administration. She also played Softball for Davenport University.  She is married with 1 dog. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, going to car shows and shopping.

Angie has been an account executive with Capital Insurance Services since 2006. She has over 30 years of insurance and bond experience and is a current board member of the State of Michigan Surety Association. Angie has been married for 26 years and has 3 wonderful boys.

Donna worked in the insurance industry for 35 years. She spent the past 19 years at Capital Insurance Services as a senior account manager. Donna is a loyal Michigan State fan and enjoys attending and watching all Spartan sports events.

Tom was very thorough, fulfilling his client’s insurance needs with our agency’s best priced products. He used a no pressure, friendly sales approach as a full lines, licensed insurance agent of more than 35 years. When away from the office Tom loves family time and golf.

Lansing native, Dan McKerr began his insurance career in 1989 and joined Capital Insurance Service Corporation in 1995. His focus has changed over the years from Home, Auto, Life and Health Insurance to now Healthcare Professional Liability and Lawyer Professional Liability along with Commercial Insurance coverage. Dan still enjoys working with clients he met over 30 years ago and taking care of their insurance needs.

Dan is active at St. Gerard Parish and Lansing Catholic High School. When not working, you can find him and his wife at one of their six children’s activities or at a University of Michigan football game.

Sandy has been a senior account manager for 23 years. She is a licensed agent with more than 26 years of experience, and 21 as a Certified Insurance Service Representative. When not at work, Sandy enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and working out at the fitness center.

Karen has been in the insurance industry since 1980. She has had her professional Certified Insurance Service Representative designation for over 30 years. She enjoys visiting her granddaughter in California.

Elizabeth (Liz) joined Capital Insurance Services in 2018 and works in our bond department. She is a graduate of Michigan State University and enjoys spending time with her 3 dogs and cat.

Kim has worked in the insurance industry for more than 20 years. She has spent the past 6 years at Capital Insurance Services as an account manager. Kim enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Stephanie has been in the insurance industry for the last 6 years and is a licensed agent. She also holds an associate’s degree in Business Administration and Management. She is married with four wonderful children and 2 dogs. When not at work she enjoys being outside, spending time with her family, traveling and shopping.

Anna recently joined the Capital Insurance Bond Department.

Blythe joined Capital Insurance in July of 2023 and has been in the insurance industry for the last 3 years. She is married with 1 child, their dog Luigi. When not at work she enjoys spending time with family, watching a good movie or show and taking walks with Luigi.

Samantha joined Capital Insurance in September of 2022 and she is currently enrolled at Lansing Community College studying in general studies. When outside the office she spends time with family, listens to music, and watches movies.

Vanessa joined Capital Insurance in February 2024 and has worked in the insurance industry for 2 years. She was raised in St. Johns Michigan where she lives with her two daughters. Enjoys spending time with her kids, friends, family and being outside in the garden or finding new adventures.

Krista joined Capital Insurance in July of 2023.  She is new to both Michigan and the insurance industry.  When not at work she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband and 2 dogs, bicycle riding, cooking or watching documentaries.

Paul has been in the insurance industry for the last 6 years and is a licensed agent. He attended Spring Arbor University studying Business Management. He most recently graduated from Mycomputercareer.com with a degree in Information Technologies.  Paul has 4 children and a 1-year-old Sammy, his 1^st. grandson.  When not at work he can be seen riding his pride and joy, Guinevere, his Harley Davidson all over Michigan.

Kate joined Capital Insurance in February 2024 as our receptionist. When outside of the office, she can be found baking cakes, swimming, or spending time with friends and family. Kate is also a proud “mom” to two cats named Duck and Goose, who occupy a lot of her free time.

Breahna has been in the insurance industry for over 4 years. She started her career in personal lines insurance as a sales representative. She recently joined Capital Insurance in June of 2024. She was born and raised in Lansing, MI but she did relocate to Phoenix, AZ for 6 years before returning home. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 2 children and dog Duke. She also enjoys spending time with friends, doing karaoke, and traveling.
